Join the Gold Coast Central Chamber of Commerce to hear from four property industry experts about the future of the Gold Coast real estate market while enjoying our Christmas lunch. With our commercial and residential property markets sitting at a crucial juncture, this lunch will provide a fascinating insight into the future of the region. 

Our panel of speakers will be:


Cr Cameron Caldwell

Chair of the City of Gold Coast's Economy Planning and Environment Committee.

Cr Caldwell has pledged to restore confidence in the development arm of the Gold Coast economy. He is committed to promoting the Gold Coast as a premier tourist location whilst continuing to facilitate the highest offering of public recreational spaces and infrastructure for locals to use and enjoy.

As a leader in the city's north, Cr Caldwell is working to see that the fast-growing northern gold coast suburbs are supported with new job and entertainment hubs like the Coomera Town Centre and the surrounding transport network.

Cameron is a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and has practised law since 2003. He is a qualified mediator and patrolling lifesaver for Surf Life Saving Queensland.


Tina Grey

Ms Grey has 25 years' experience in the Residential Property Management sector. Her role as the Head or JLL Residential Property Management sees Ms Grey incorporating Body Corporate management, Building and Facility Management, and Residential Property Management.
Ms Grey's experience includes managing of all aspects of property management, property marketing, residential sales, project leasing, onsite building and facility management, as well as business development.


Andrew Henderson

REIQ Gold Coast Zone Chairman

Andrew Henderson is principal of his family's 45-year-old real estate agency, John Henderson Professionals Mermaid Beach. He also is the chairman of the Gold Coast zone of the Real Estate Institute of Queensland, secretary for the national Professionals Real Estate Group and a director of the Henderson Foundation, a family run organisation that provides grants to the community.

A second-generation real estate agent who grew up in Mermaid Beach, Mr Henderson, , has written two books on the property industry and is an award-winning agent.

His agency sells close to 50 per cent of all the properties sold in Mermaid Beach and twice been named as the Gold Coast's Family Business of the Year in the Gold Coast Business Excellence Awards.


Remi Rafter

Acquisitions Manager, Pindan

Mr Rafter grew up in South East Queensland.  He holds qualifications from the University of New South Wales in Civil Engineering and Business.  Remi has served as the acquisition manager for several prominent property development groups and has successfully acquired a range of properties for land subdivisions, townhouse projects, apartment projects and core asset investments throughout South East Queensland.  Over the past eighteen months, Remi has worked with Pindan to progress their expansion into the Queensland market and acquired the site on Peerless Avenue, Mermaid Beach for their $113m Mahlala project.
